Tulsa's tough non-conference schedule continues Wednesday night with a home game against Creighton. The Jays are 6-1 on the year, and playing their first true road game of the season.
Tulsa has come off some difficult losses, including OSU in Vegas and Wichita State by 20 on the road. Creighton will be another difficult test. The Big East has done well in non-conference, while the American has not.
TU Head Coach Frank Haith said, "This is a huge game for us, as all of them are, but this is no question. You have a chance to play a team from a power conference. It bodes well for you to be able to have success. I do think we have to share the ball better, and I do think that's a work in progress."
The defense has held five of its first six opponents to under 50 percent shooting, so that should come in handy Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. against the Bluejays in the Reynolds Center.
