Police Arrest Man Who Pointed Handgun At Tulsa QuikTrip Clerk During Beer Theft

Tulsa Police arrest the driver of a car who pointed a handgun at a QuikTrip clerk after a juvenile stole beer from a store late Monday.

Tulsa Police arrest the driver of a car who pointed a handgun at a QuikTrip clerk after a juvenile stole beer from a store late Monday. 

Officers said at 10:13 p.m. a juvenile entered the QuikTrip at 61st and Lewis, grabbed some beer and left without paying. A clerk followed the juvenile outside to get the tag of the car when the driver, Adrian Carrillo, 18, pointed a gun at the clerk and drove away.

Police said officers located the 2000 Nissan Maxima about an hour later and questioned Carrillo and three juveniles in the car.  Police said the three juveniles confirmed Carrillo had pointed a gun at the clerk.  Officers also found a handgun in the car.

Adrian Carrillo was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of pointing a deadly weapon with intent. Jail records show is being held on a $20,000 bond with a court appearance set for December 9, 2014. 

No word on if the juvenile who took the beer was arrested by police
