Metro Christian Prepares For 4A Semifinals

Tomorrow is semifinal Friday for the state's smaller classes.

Metro Christian shook up the 4A bracket with last week's, last second, upset of number one ranked Anadarko. They are now set to take on Wagoner tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. in Glenpool. The winner of the game will advance to championship play. 

The Patriots always believed they would make it this far during their first year in 4A.

Metro Christian's head coach Jared McCoy said, "There's always a part of you that thinks you can be here if things go your way, and if you can prevent injuries. There is an element of being 4A that will be tough. Where we are, it's a big deal to be in the semifinals our first year in 4A."
