Hundreds of folks in Green Country won't go without this Thanksgiving, thanks to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
They handed out hundreds of pre-made meals to some 300 families Wednesday.
Food Bank volunteers went to the South Tulsa Community House off 57th and Peoria, one of three locations that was selected to hand out the meals.
Meal recipients will get turkey and gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans and even mashed potatoes.
It's all fully prepared; families of eight just have to heat it up.
"I worked forever as a truck driver, but through diabetes I can't work and my health is not as great as it used to be, so, you know, the helping hand I get stretches my income a little further and I'm just thankful," said meal recipient James Birch.
Other stops included the Lindsey House and Catholic Charities.
