More Oklahoma Flu Cases Reported

The latest numbers from the Oklahoma State Department of Health show the number of hospitalizations due to the flu so far this season are creeping upward.

The latest numbers from the Oklahoma State Department of Health show the number of hospitalizations due to the flu so far this season are creeping upward.

The OSDH says 24 people have now been hospitalized as a result of the illness this season, which began September 28.

According to OSDH records, Adair and Oklahoma counties have each had six influenza hospitalizations this season.

Tulsa County has had three hospitalizations followed by Blaine, Custer, Greer, Jefferson, Lincoln, Marshall, Mayes, Payne and Stephens counties with one flu hospitalization each.
