Tulsa Police have re-opened the intersection at 35th and Memorial after several huge panes of commercial mirror glass fell off a truck Thursday morning.
Officers closed the southbound lanes of Memorial at 35th and the entrance from Memorial onto westbound Broken Arrow Expressway at about 5 a.m. They reopened the intersection at 7:30 a.m.
Police say a Truelite Glass truck that spilled the glass left without stopping. Officers said the driver returned a short time later and told officers he was unaware the mirror glass had fallen from his truck.
City of Tulsa workers used a front-end loader, a dump truck, shovels and brooms to clean up the glass.
