A midtown Tulsa cafe has an extra $30,000 to help get its fledgling business off the ground.

The StartUp Cup, organized by Tulsa Community College, awards entrepreneurs for innovative business models.

This year's winners own the Nourish Drink Cafe at 17th and Utica. They plan to use the money to take their healthy drinks on the road.

Co-owner Amy Murray said, "We are going to buy a mobile nourish unit, so we can start delivering, start going to races and events, so that we can get our product to more people as quick as we possibly can."

TCC said small businesses bring in over $3 billion for Tulsa's economy.

The owners are celebrating their win by hosting a fundraiser Wednesday for a local non-profit called "Project Orphans" The non-profit provides healthcare, meals and education to 17 orphans living in homes they've built in Uganda and Guatemala. The fundraiser takes place at the cafe.
