A Kansas earthquake rumbled across Oklahoma and all the way down to Dallas Wednesday afternoon.
The U.S. Geological Survey said it was a 4.8 magnitude quake, centered near Conway Springs, Kansas, just 20 miles north of the Oklahoma state line.
We walked around downtown after it happened and most people coming out of the tall buildings said they felt it and that they were surprised when everything started shaking.

"Just the computer monitors started shaking back and forth," said downtown employee, Chase Quarrells.
The earthquake hit Green Country and rattled windows and some nerves.
Downtown employees walked around outside and said they were just going about their day then, all of the sudden, things started shaking.
"I noticed my desk and computer started to shake a little bit, so it was a little unsettling, then everyone around me kind of had that same look on their face of unsettlement, it didn't last very long though,” Allison Edwards said.
It wasn't just people downtown that felt it, viewers from across Green Country called or emailed from as far north as Bartlesville and as far south as Longtown in Pittsburg county - saying they felt it too.
For some, like Edwards, it was no big deal.
"I mean I've felt them before, It's just a different feeling, it just feels strange, I don't know," she said.
For others, like Quarrells, it's not something they're used to.
"Anytime your monitors shake on the 22nd floor it's kind of scary,” he said. “I don't want to be in a building that's shaking."
The 4.8 magnitude earthquake was actually Oklahoma's 4th on Wednesday. The other three very small quakes were centered near Medford and Yale.
So far there have been no reports of damage here in the Tulsa area.
