Several water line breaks in Tulsa and Sand Springs have caused slick spots on roads because the leaking water is freezing in the 20-degree temperatures.
The Tulsa Water Department reports an 8-inch water line break at 38th and Sheridan. The city expects the break to be repaired by Wednesday afternoon. In the meantime, workers have put down sand on the road to help traction.
