He'd like to issue a personal invitation to visit the training base:
"This Veterans Day for all those who have served and that are serving, I wish you the best of days. I've just finished up 31 years and am still currently serving in the Oklahoma National Guard.
My unit is on the northeast side of Tulsa International Airport.
This weekend, we're hosting a 5K race, followed by an open house, where you can see all the equipment we train with, go into combat with and fight the war on terrorism with.
So Saturday morning between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., if you think you're faster than a veteran, come on out here.
We'd like to see you race against us.
And if you just want to see everything we train with and go into combat with, we'll be out here until noon time."
