Emergency crews rescued a Tulsa woman after a rollover crash Sunday morning. Diana Phillips is hospitalized with head, leg and internal injuries after the single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 44 in Tulsa County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers say Phillips was a passenger in a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Dylan Sharrard. Sharrard was eastbound on I-44 near State Highway 51 at 6:34 a.m. when his car swerved and hit the center median.

The Malibu rolled an unknown number of times before landing on the passenger side. Phillips, 24, was pinned in the car about 15 minutes until being freed by Tulsa firefighters.

Troopers say Sharrard was in apparently normal condition at the time of the wreck but was distracted by his passenger.

He was not injured.
