The U.S. Attorney's office for the Northern District of Oklahoma says they will have a federal prosecutor on duty election day, November 4, 2014 to respond to complaints of election fraud and voting rights violations.

U.S. Attorney Danny Williams stated in a news release if anyone has evidence of possible election fraud to call Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles McLoughlin at 918-382-2700.

“Every citizen must be able to vote without interference or discrimination and to have that vote counted without it being stolen because of fraud. The Department of Justice will act promptly and aggressively to protect the integrity of the election process.” He added, “Ensuring free and fair elections depends in large part on the cooperation of the American electorate. It is imperative that those who have specific information about discrimination or election fraud make that information available immediately to my Office or the FBI,” said U.S. Attorney Danny Williams.

Federal prosecutors across the country monitor elections as part of the Justice Department's annual election day program.

Williams says the FBI in Tulsa can also take information about election fraud, intimidation and suppression allegations. The FBI can be reached at 918-664-3300.
