Volunteers with several groups got together this weekend to built a 42,000 square-foot playground in North Tulsa. The multigenerational playground, funded primarily by Humana Inc., was built at Wesley Chapel, 2750 North Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Tulsa Cornerstone Assistance Network and Youthworks joined Humana and members of Wesley Chapel to erect the large playground. Community members - from children to seniors - helped design the playground in September.

The Tulsa playground marks Humana's 50th playground built in partnership with KaBOOM! over the past four years.

Then, in just six hours Saturday, the playground became a reality, according to a news release from Humana. And they appeared to have a great time doing it.
