TU Women's Soccer Falls To Memphis

The Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Memphis on Saturday night at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tenn. TU fell to 9-7-2 on the season and 2-4-1 in the American Athletic Conference, while the Tigers moved to 7-5-4 overall and 4-1-2 in the league.

Valerie Sanderson scored the only goal of the contest at the 38:57 mark off a pass from Kaitlyn Atkins.

Lauren King had a team-best two shots for the Golden Hurricane, while five others had one attempt. Courtney McKeon logged all 90 minutes between the posts for two saves.

Memphis had a 12-7 lead in shots, including a 3-2 advantage in shots on goal, while Tulsa had a 3-1 lead in corner kicks.
