Claremore Man Dies At Hospital After Car Crash

A Claremore man who was sent to the hospital after his car crashed and flipped on the Creek Turnpike Monday passed away Tuesday afternoon.

Joshua Mullen, 29, was admitted to St. John's Hospital Monday with head, arm, leg and internal injuries after OHP said his Jeep Cherokee hit a cable barrier and flipped on the Creek Turnpike.

Reports say the car went off the road to the right, Mullen overcorrected to the left, hit the cable barrier causing the Jeep to flip four times. OHP said Mullen was thrown from the Jeep and struck by it.

Reports say he passed away just before 2:00 Tuesday.

According to OHP's report, Mullen's seat belt was not in use.
