Cold and flu season is here, and there has already been one confirmed case.
The feds are recommending children between two and eight get the Flu Mist nasal spray. Doctors say research shows it just works better in young children.
The spray does contain a weakened, live virus but doctors say not to worry.
Every dose of the nasal spray will protect against four strains of the flu instead of the usual three.
Remember the Flu vaccines are now available.
The Creek Nation's mobile clinic will also be going to different locations to provide flu shots.
Here are some tips to stay germ free: always cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing, use antibacterial hand sanitizer throughout your work day or while at home, always avoid touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
Germs are often spread after touching something contaminated with germs, then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
And, stay home if you are sick.
