An Idabel man was arrested on Wednesday for possession of child pornography, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said in a news release.
John Peters, 32, was arrested at his home after OSBI agents, the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office and Idabel police served a search warrant for computer-related devices.
Officials reportedly found several devices in Peters' home that contained more than 100 child pornography images. Images of a local child also were discovered, according to OSBI.
Peters was arrested by the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Unit for distribution of child pornography, aggravated possession of child pornography (more than 100 images on a device) and manufacturing child pornography.
He is in the McCurtain County jail.
