Wagoner County Deputies Make Arrests In Thefts

Wagoner County investigators have arrested two men suspected in numerous burglaries near Whitethorn Cove and Rocky Point, a news release says.

Wagoner County investigators have arrested two men suspected in numerous thefts near Whitethorn Cove and Rocky Point, a news release says.

Dustin James Culver and Daniel Wesley Thornburg, both of Wagoner. Culver was arrested on Monday night and Thornburg was taken into custody on Friday.

Deputies say Culver is being held on complaints of knowingly concealing stolen property, conspiracy to commit a felony and falsifying evidence. Thornburg is facing charges for residential burglary, burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property, conspiracy to commit a felony and falsifying evidence.

Officials say DNA evidence collected at the scene of at least five additional burglaries is being compared to Thornburg and several other persons of interest.

Between the vehicle burglaries, home burglaries and larcenies in the area, the sheriff's office anticipates clearing approximately 20 theft cases, the release says.
