City Of Tulsa Dealing With More Water Line Breaks

The City of Tulsa's water department is repairing a couple of water main breaks discovered early Tuesday.

The water department got the call about a six-inch line break at 45th and Joplin at about 12:30 a.m. Another water main break was reported just after 5:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of South 99th East Avenue. The city says the size of this water line was eight inches.

Workers shut off water to the area and said that will impact several businesses off 99th East Avenue from 54th to 55th streets.

Officials expect both breaks to be repaired sometime Tuesday afternoon. .
