Tulsa Police Release Video Of Robber Who Fired Gun In Dollar General

Tulsa Police are looking for a man who robbed an east Tulsa Dollar General store earlier this month.

Tulsa Police are looking for a man who robbed an east Tulsa Dollar General store earlier this month. They released surveillance video of him robbing the location at 11902 East 21st Street on Sunday, September 7, 2014.

A news release states the man entered the store at 5:10 p.m. and walked behind the counter. He was carrying a handgun and fired one round into the floor.

There were several customers in the store, some of whom ran outside when he fired the shot, police say.

The robber demanded money from the cash register and safe, and employees gave him the money. He then left the store, according to the news release..

He was wearing a white cloth that covered most of his face but is described as a black male, 23 to 30 years old, 5'5" to 5'6" and 140 to 150 pounds. He had on a white, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.
