Sheriff: Okmulgee Man Connected To 2 Missing Beggs Girls Arrested

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office says they've arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with two missing girls from Beggs. 

In a news release, the sheriff's office learned Allan Adkisson of Okmulgee picked up the two girls after they ran away from school Tuesday, then let them spend the night at his home. 

The girls were found Wednesday afternoon after deputies got a tip the pair was walking near Smith Road and old Highway 75 between Beggs and Okmulgee.

Adkisson was booked into the Okmulgee County jail on complaints of harboring a fugitive, obstructing an officer, sodomy and lewd or indecent acts with a child under the age of 14.
