Drivers in Oklahoma City and Tulsa are near the middle of the pack when it comes to safety.
Allstate has released "America's Safest Driving City" list based on the insurance company's analysis of car crashes. Fort Collins, Colorado was at the top of the list of 200 largest U.S. cities.
This year's ranking has Tulsa ranked #96 up from last year's ranking of #100. Oklahoma City fell with a ranking this year of #87, down from #81 last year.
Allstate, which writes nearly one in 10 U.S. auto insurance policies, based its ratings on an analysis of claims data to determine the places with the greatest frequency of collisions, factoring in weather conditions, traffic volume, and population.
