TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa's Table is holding its third “Pay What You Can” pop-up café Tuesday at the Greenwood Cultural Center.

Hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 322 North Greenwood Avenue. Reservations can be made here.

The cafe offers just what the name says; a fresh meal regardless of what guests can pay. For those who have the money, the suggested donation price is $10.

Guests can also donate time or talent in exchange for a meal.

Different from food pantries, chefs prepare Tulsa's Table meals using locally grown ingredients.

The focus is not on feeding just one economic class but to mix a diverse community around one table. In areas of Tulsa, poverty rates can vary from 7 to 53 percent within a two-mile radius. Providing equal access to one meal puts all of these families in one place, organizers say.
