Officials released the name of the woman who, they say, was shot and killed during an argument Tuesday.

First responders found Amanda Day's body in the bedroom of a home near 21st and 145th East Avenue.

Detectives said Day was arguing with Harold Brewer when she was killed.

Brewer ran from the scene after the shooting, according to police. He was later arrested by the department’s Mingo Valley Division at 13000 East 21st Street, Sergeant Dave Walker said.

According to the arrest report, when Brewer was taken into custody he had blood stains on the left leg of his blue jeans.

Brewer’s car was taken into evidence at the scene and police found a shotgun and kitchen knife in the backyard of a vacant house next door.

Brewer is being held without bond in the Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of first degree murder.
