A woman police say started a fire that killed her two nieces has been released from jail.

Miashah Moses bonded out of custody around 10:30 Monday night. Police say Moses admitted to leaving an apartment near 59th and Lewis on November 18, 2013, while she had chicken cooking on the stove.

A fire started, killing 4-year-old Noni and 18-month-old Nylah Moses. The two girls, their mother and aunt had just recently moved in together at the London Square Apartments. The mother of the two girls told News On 6 she didn't believe her sister should have been charged.

Security cameras show Miashah was outside the apartment for up to 10 minutes. Police say she admitted to stopping and talking to a friend.

Miashah Moses was in custody for second-degree murder and is due in court later this month.
