It was the first event of it's kind here in Tulsa, raising awareness for the abandoned and neglected dog population. Tulsa County Parks held Puppypalooza Saturday at O'Brien Park.

At Puppypalooza, Green Country residents could bring out their dogs and let them take a dip in the pool or run an obstacle course. A mobile vet clinic was on hand to help pet owners with any questions or problems.

The SPCA also had dogs available for adoption.

If you see an abandoned or neglected dog, Tulsa County Parks says do something. Either call your local animal shelter or - if you think the animal is being abused - call local authorities.
