Mother, Premature Daughter Visit Hero BA Paramedics

A Broken Arrow girl was born premature at just 25 weeks to a mother who did not know she was pregnant.

That little girl turned two Thursday and her mother said without the quick response and amazing efforts of Broken Arrow paramedics, the day wouldn’t have been possible.

“I was in a lot of pain and I didn't know I was pregnant, so I didn't really know what was going on,” Stephanee said. “And I thought I would go to the restroom and next thing I know, she came out in the toilet, she was feet first. I picked her up and she pretty much fit in my hand.”

On Friday, Stephanee and her daughter, little Amiyah, went on a surprise visit to thank their heroes at the fire station.
