Man Drowns In Creek At Osage Hills State Park

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not released the name of the man who at drowned at Osage Hills State Park on Saturday, August 2, 2014.

OHP Captain George Brown told our Radio Oklahoma Network partner, BartlesvilleRadio.com, the man stepped into a creek that was apparently too deep and did not resurface. The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on the south end of the park.

Brown says the man's relatives are in India and it is taking longer than normal to make notification.

Osage Hills State Park is located on Highway 60 about 10 miles west of Bartlesville in Osage County.
