Tulsa Police arrested a man after he had fired a shotgun into the air during a domestic dispute outside a home early Thursday.
Officers responded to a home near 50th West Avenue and Admiral at 12:20 a.m. after a woman said Cozell Donald, 31, had fired the gun and gone back inside.
Police said they learned another woman and her two children were still in the home, but officers were able to get them to come outside.
"The suspect did not come out. Eventually we were able to get the second victim and two young children to come outside at which point we were advised the suspect assaulted the second victim and had returned inside with the firearm," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Michael Brown.
Brown said it took a while, but they persuaded Donald to also leave the home.
Cozell Donald was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and possession of a firearm. Jail records show he was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond with a court appearance set for July 31, 2014.
Police said none of the victims were hurt during the incident.
