One of the biggest music festivals in Tulsa kicks off in Friday. The Center of the Universe Festival has more than 80 artists and nine different venues around downtown involved.
Thursday, crews put up the finishing touches, closed several roads and worked to set up the stages, like the one at the Guthrie Green.
They shut down roads and put up fences inside the areas of Easton, Boulder, Archer and Detroit.

Traffic along Detroit will be going both directions and local traffic will use Cincinnati and Cameron as a detour.
“And if you don’t want to take your car at all, you can take Uber. And if you haven’t signed up yet for Uber, you get the app on your iPhone and your first $25 ride is free. So, we’re gonna have a special Uber lane, it’s gonna be located on Archer and Elgin,” said President of Tulsanity Inc., Phil Kaiser.
You can get more information on the Center of The Universe Festival, including the lineup, a festival map and parking information at their website.
