The cause of death for a suspected serial rapist has been determined, according to the state medical examiner's office.
Desmond Campbell died from complications of traumatic brain injury due to blunt-force trauma of the head, a spokesperson said on Thursday. The manner of death has been ruled an accident.

Campbell was injured in a wreck on June 29 when the car he was driving crashed head on into a sign along Interstate 44. He was taken to a hospital in a coma, where he remained until his death nine days later, according to Tulsa police.
The wreck occurred about four miles from where a rape occurred just minutes before.
Campbell was the suspect in seven sexual assaults across midtown Tulsa this summer and the Tulsa County District Attorney had a news conference scheduled to announce charges would be filed against Campbell, but he died in the hospital that day.
One of the women who said she was attacked by Campbell told News On 6 his death was "karma."
The medical examiner's office said the autopsy report isn't ready, but will be available when toxicology results are complete.
