Tulsa Police responded after shots were fired outside a Tulsa nightclub. It happened at 21st and Sheridan Rio's Restaurant and Bar, known to many as the former home of Casa Bonita.
Police say someone started shooting in the parking lot. Officers believe they know who the shooter is but have not taken him into custody Monday morning.
Witnesses tell police they heard several gunshots at about 2 a.m. They then saw a white Ford Mustang drive away.
With a little help from an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, police found the Mustang. They gave the passenger a citation for discharging a firearm in the city limits but did not take him to jail.
No one reported to police that they had been shot, but TPD didn't just rely on witnesses for injury reports.
"I've had our dispatchers check with him to see if we've had anybody arrive at the hospitals. And we've had enough where we should have had somebody arrive somewhere by now, and haven't had any notifications of that," said Sergeant Mark MacKenzie, Tulsa Police.
