Tulsa Police are looking for an armed suspect in a series of robberies and attempted armed robberies Tuesday morning.
They say the man hit three Subways and a Dollar General as employees arrived at the stores.
Authorities say witnesses describe the suspect as a possibly Asian or Hispanic male about 5'6" to 5'8" wearing black jeans, a black hoodie and a black beanie. He was also wearing dark sunglasses.
The man was armed with a black pistol, police say.
Gunshots were fired at the first store, a Dollar General at 61st and Garnett. A manager was outside the store when the attempted armed robbery occurred.
The suspect fired at least three times as three shell casings were found, officers say.
After the discount store, police believe the same robber went to a Subway at 61st and Memorial where he was successful. He robbed a woman customer inside the store, taking cash, a backpack and coins from her purse. He then robbed the woman employee behind the counter.
A little later, he went to the Subway at 43rd and Mingo where he gained entrance to the restaurant and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Finally, at about 8 a.m., authorities say the man went to the Subway at 43rd and Memorial. He approached an employee in the parking lot, demanding to be let inside. The worker said he didn't have a key to the building and then ran away.
The robber ran off as well, police say.
No one was injured in any of the incidents, police say.
