It wasn't the happiest Independence Day for the Tulsa Drillers as they fell to San Antonio on the road, 7-4.

The Drillers were done in by a four-run second inning from the Missions, keyed by a three-run home run from Cody Overbeck. Overbeck drove in four runs for the game.

Tulsa pounded out 13 hits, led by three each from Jose Gonzalez and Cristhian Adames, but was unable to take advantage of the scoring opportunities. Tulsa went just 4-of-14 with runners in scoring position and left 11 runners on base.

Former Oklahoma star Jon Gray took the loss on the hill for the Drillers, his first loss since May 29. Gray gave up five runs on 9 hits in 3.1 innings.

San Antonio starter James Needy kept the Drillers in check over his 6.2 innings, scattering eight hits and giving up two runs without a walk. Jeff Ibarra got the last two outs to pick up his first save of the season.

The Drillers travel to Corpus Christi to take on the Hooks at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday.
