Broken Arrow Man Arrested For Public Intoxication After Fight

Tulsa police arrested a Broken Arrow man for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

That's after police were called out for a report of a man trying to set a dog on fire.

A witness told officers that Kent Monroe had gotten into a fight before they arrived near the intersection of Elgin Avenue and Second Street.

Police say Monroe ran when they got there.

They caught up with him about a block away.

He was booked after being checked out at OSU Medical Center.
