It's festival season, and there's no greater time to enjoy the outdoors than Memorial Day weekend.
In Prue, thousands of people and more than 50 bands are kicking off the three-day weekend. Tents and tie-dye mark year seven for this camping and music festival.
Tucked away in Green Country's backwoods are 3,000 people who for three days bring a Woodstock feel to Keystone Lake.
"It's just a bunch of good people, good music and good times," Todd Lackey said. "And you have a lake. What's not to like?"
Lackey is selling tie-dye T-shirts to festival-goers.
"Bandanas and baby clothes and halter tops and socks," he said.
Daniel Moore rode his bike here Friday.
On Saturday, he brought a camping companion.
"Went home, got the dog, came back," Moore said.
David Bramlett travels the nation to go to festivals and he loves the Backwoods Bash. He got here early and says he'll stay late.
"Thursday. Friday. Saturday. Sunday. Monday. Five days for less than $50," he said. "You can't find that anywhere."
He and his friends are camping out in their 1960s Volkswagen buses.
"That's what we like about it. Totally chill and laid back and there's no pressure," he said.
No pressure, kicking back, listening to folk music.
Or staying up late with electronic DJs.
"You've got two stages," organizer Will Royal said. "We also have a drum circle that kicks off at 2 the morning. They were partying until 6 o'clock this morning."
Dancing into dawn this Memorial Day weekend.
