Memorial Day Weekend Could Be Wet One In Oklahoma

The Memorial Day weekend could be a wet one eastern Oklahoma.

News On 6's WARN team is tracking thunderstorms moving out of Texas into Oklahoma Friday. Those storms will remain in western Oklahoma for most of the day, but they are expected to arrive in eastern Oklahoma Friday evening.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says showers should remain in eastern Oklahoma on Saturday ahead of another storm system which will move across the state Sunday into Monday.

Crone says the severe weather threat will be low, but a thunderstorm or two could produce heavy rain and some hail in portions of eastern Oklahoma both days.
