Muskogee 8-Year-Old Presented With Hero Award

There was a very special Oklahoma moment for an eight-year-old boy in Muskogee Thursday as he was presented with a special award at school.

Israel Martin saved his grandmother's life, when he called 911 for help, when she couldn't breathe.

Emergency responders came to Israel's school Thursday and surprised him with the "Call of Duty Hero Award."

They say his quick thinking, while relaying information to dispatchers saved his grandma's life.
