Tulsa police are searching for a man they say committed an armed robbery at a midtown Walgreens on Wednesday.

Officers said a man was caught on surveillance video at the store, which is located at East 31st Street and South Harvard Avenue, about 10:45 a.m.

He entered the store, walked directly to the pharmacy counter and presented a note to the employee which demanded prescription pills, police said.

A K-9 officer and their partner attempted to track the suspect, who ran away, but weren't successful.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 man in his late 20s-early 30s, possibly Hispanic or American Indian.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES.
