Police believe an east Tulsa home invasion and an armed robbery outside an east Tulsa apartment complex late Tuesday were related.

Officers said in the first robbery, four men kicked in the door of a home in the 2300 block of South 119th East Avenue at about 11:15 p.m.

Once inside, two of the men held guns to the heads of the couple who lives there while the other two men ransacked it.

Samuel Ekehchiabl says the four men took money and some personal items before leaving the home.

Officers said all four men wore masks and dark clothing.

About 15 minutes later, Tulsa Police said a man and a woman were robbed in the parking lot of the Meadow Apartments in the 2800 block of South 116th Street.

Officers said while the victims saw only two armed men, they heard two other men talking nearby.

Police said none of the victims was hurt.
