Oologah High School seniors organized a huge effort to stage a prank before their upcoming graduation.
They created a beach in a parking lot on the north side of the school. It took 10 tons of sand, hay bales and thousands of gallons of water.
The seniors started at 10:30 Sunday night. They used hay bales and a huge tarp to make the pool and added a volleyball net to complete the illusion.
Some of the seniors actually spent the night camping out at the "beach."
Oologah has a tradition of senior pranks at the school, none of which has involved damaging property. Two years ago the seniors of 2010 covered the school's front lawn in toilet paper.

In 2010 the seniors covered the school's front lawn with thousands of plastic forks.
The seniors of 2014 got permission from school officials for their prank, after they promised to clean up the area and return the parking lot to its previous condition once they're finished.
Local businesses helped by supplying the sand and hay and the fire department filled up the pool.
