A Fort Gibson man told police two men robbed him at gunpoint while he closed his wife's restaurant for the night.

He says the suspects tied him up in the walk-in cooler and set fire to the building.

Police are looking at surveillance video and doing interviews, but they haven't made any arrests.

Mother's Day is around the corner and at the Flower Can, orders are piling up.

"We've got so much stuff going on; it's crazy," Quanah James said.

They have so many orders, sometimes they are working late, but after an armed robbery investigation down the street, those midnight hours may be put on hold.

"It's something you're concerned about, yeah, it's kind of scary," James said.

Fort Gibson Police are looking for two people who reportedly robbed the Courtyard Bistro and Bakery early Thursday.

Police say the owner's husband called 911, saying the robbers tied him to the shelves in the restaurant's walk-in cooler.

James Noblitt told police he broke free when he noticed smoke filling the cooler.

A state fire marshal told police someone set two fires in the restaurant.

Police say Noblitt told them he went to the restaurant to check on an electrical breaker, returned to his truck when two men wearing dark clothing approached him with a gun.

Noblitt told police the suspects forced him to hand over all the restaurant's money and cash from his pockets.

When police arrived, Noblitt told them the men would kill him if he came out.

Police said they are doing everything they can to put people at ease while they continue the investigation.

Stephen Farmer, Special Investigator, "We've told them if they're closing up late at night and they're by themselves, get in their cars safely and leave," special investigator Stephen Farmer said.

The Fort Gibson Police says citizens and business owners shouldn't be afraid, because they have increased police patrols in the area.
