Police Talk Man Down From Roof Of Tulsa Motel

Guests at the Days Inn Motel in the 6500 block of East Admiral called the Tulsa Police Department after hearing a man walking around on the roof early Thursday.

Tulsa Police asked for the fire department's help to get the unidentified man off the roof just after 2 a.m.

Officers said the man told them someone was chasing him. Police said it took about an hour of talking before the man finally climbed down a fire truck's ladder.

EMSA paramedics then checked him out.

Tulsa Police said the man works as a tree trimmer and that may have helped him get on the roof of the motel.

Officers have no word on if the man was on any medications at the time of the incident.
