Tulsa Teacher Charged With Multiple Counts Of Lewd Molestation

Prosecutors charged a Tulsa Public School teacher with four counts of lewd molestation and one count of lewd proposal to a child.  The charges were filed Wednesday.

Brian Drabek, 41, taught sixth grade math and science at Thoreau Demonstration Academy.

He was arrested April 24, 2014 after a police investigation found inappropriate text messages were sent to a 12-year-old female student.  Tulsa Police believe Drabek also touched the girl inappropriately at school and at his home.

Tulsa Public Schools said Drabek was suspended from his teaching job following his arrest.

A check with the Tulsa County jail shows Drabek remains behind bars.
