Rural Skiatook Mobile Home Burns To The Ground

A mobile home in rural Osage County was destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning.

The double-wide mobile home was located north of Skiatook at Lombard Lane and 183rd Street North.

Skiatook Fire officials said a man driving by the home at about 4 a.m. spotted the fire, notified neighbors who called the fire department.

Officials said by the time Skiatook firefighters arrived, the home was already considered a total loss. They said no one was home.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
