Tulsa Firefighters Rescue Cat From Burning Garage

Tulsa firefighters rescued a cat from a burning garage early Wednesday.

The Tulsa Fire Department got the call about the fire in the 5600 block of West 3rd Street at 12:30 a.m.

They said after getting the cat out of the garage and giving it oxygen the cat ran off. No else was home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters said the fire was contained to the garage, but the rest of the home sustained some smoke damage. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
