Tulsa Police were at Thoreau Demonstration Academy Tuesday with a search warrant for a Tulsa teacher's car.

Sixth-grade teacher Brian Drabek was arrested April 24, 2014, on four complaints of attempted lewd molestation. The victim is a 12-year-old Thoreau student, police say.

Investigators executed a search warrant on Drabek's Nissan Altima sedan which was in the parking lot at the TPS campus, 7300 East 71st Street. The car was impounded as evidence.

Authorities previously confiscated Drabek's classroom chair from Thoreau and other evidence from his home. Police say Drabek admitted sending inappropriate text messages to the student and touching her inappropriately.

Police were alerted to the alleged relationship between Drabek and the student when the girl's mother asked her where she got an iPad. The girl reportedly admitted it was from the 41-year-old classroom teacher.

Drabek remains in Tulsa County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
