Red Cross volunteers from Tulsa are in the community of Quapaw to render aid to victims of  Sunday's tornado.

The Red Cross says it set up a shelter at the Quapaw Tribe's Wellness Center at 907 Whitebird Street.

Volunteer first responders are providing shelter, food and drinks for anyone in need in the Ottawa County community. So far, they are reporting they've fed about 200 people with donations provided by the Miami Walmart store and the Downstream and The Stables casinos.

They reported only one person needed shelter Sunday night while the rest stayed with relatives.

The Red Cross says about eight volunteers are working at the shelter and will be staying in Quapaw as long as they're needed.
