Children picked through Lacy Park Saturday morning while hunting for colorful eggs hidden in the grass.

The 20-year tradition by Tulsa police also served as a perfect opportunity to teach parents about car seat safety while they were there.

"We make sure they have safe candy and that they are around people that care about them with the car seat and making sure they have candy to eat for the Easter weekend," TPD Officer Debra Dickens said.

Police are reminding parents that children should be in a booster seat until 80 pounds or until they reach 4-foot-9 in height.
