Tulsa Public Schools Goes Mobile With School Connect App

Tulsa Public Schools is rolling out a new tool that should help parents, teachers and students communicate.

It's called School Connect. It's a communication tool with web access - and mobile apps that work on Apple and Android devices.

School Connect will be the official app for TPS, with access to grade books, school calendars, and email messaging. Users will also find information about athletic events - even lunch menus.

"Tulsa Public Schools' new School Connect app allows everyone in the community access to district information on their smart phones and tablets," said Dr. Keith Ballard, TPS superintendent.

In Oklahoma, 161 school district use the School Connect app - more than any other state.

It's free and available to download at the Tulsa Public Schools web site.
